Lucchese Classic Boots

These boots  are made for walking  (and for riding too).

If you want to know what makes true tradicional Western boots, here you will find the general guidelines.

Classic Western boots have high angled heels of intermediate height (usually an inch-and-a-half or more), which makes them ready for riding or walking,  narrowed  pointed toes and no lacing. The shaft of a cowboy boot usually reaches to about mid-calf, with an overall boot height of about 12 inches. They are generally made out of cowhide  leather.

At this starting point, you may want to add other features that will make them unique, because the increasing popularity of this kind of boots has made them significant fashion items. Boot makers have added interesting looking designs, with more colors and materials, like the most exotic leathers, to satisfy different preferentes, with virtually no rules.   Personally, I prefer those designs that  maintain a classic touch.

Many Western fashion boots have the taller, knee-high shaft.  Fashion boots may also have an extremely pointed toe and a highly decorated, colorful shaft. Western fashion boots that have the bright colors and retro flair of early Hollywood are usually referred to as vintage Western boots.

You may also add to your contemporary urban look a touch of flair with more Western apparel such as belt buckles, vests, shirts or hats.
